Installation of natural jute aerial targets

Many people may be curious about how long it takes to install these new Jute Aerial Targets.    The time will very of course by individual.  A well seasoned and experienced surveyor can install these very quickly.   The steps needed to install these targets are listed below.  

1) Find a suitable location that has a clear view to the sky as you would for any aerial target location.  
2) Remove any vegetation that will cause the aerial target to not lay flat on the ground.   I do this with the side of a shovel that I routinely carry in my truck.   
3) Spread out the aerial target on the ground 

4) Set nails on the corners.  I like to use a 60d nail that has a surveyor shinner.  
5) Set a nail at the center of the panel and that you want to use for your control point.   Such as a 100d spike, rebar and cap or iron pipe.  

Now you are all done and just need to survey the panel / target location.
